Add it to your calendar now. The invite is in your inbox. Most people who miss these calls meant to come.
Need to reschedule? Use the link in your confirmation email. No explanation needed. I'd rather move it than have you miss it.
Is your deadline sooner than your appointment? Reply to the confirmation email and say so. I'll find something earlier.
